We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join the team at BeFC to coordinate projects from initial ideation, through to completion. The candidate will help coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget, as well as helping to plan and oversee projects to deliver outcomes aligned to the objectives. The candidate will report to the Product division’s managers and director.

There is no expectation for the post holder to perform staff managerial duties.

From time to time, the post holder may be asked to assist with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. This will form part of a substantive role and no additional payment for these activities should be expected.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience and/or strong interest in project management related to electrochemical and/or electronic products, with the ambition to provide feedback to help meet or exceed our customers’ needs.
1. Participating in clients’ discussions when project planning and budgeting
2. Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule milestones, work packages and tasks
3. Ensuring delivery of projects based on schedule
4. Coordinate with other members of the team
5. Implementing feedback and making revisions
6. Providing regular reports on project statuses
7. Reporting any issues through the appropriate channels
8. Recommending resource allocation
9. Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs
10. Maintaining good client relationships and communication ensuring project satisfaction
11. Assisting with internal and external projects
12. Compliance with statutory and company regulations/protocols
Graduate of a scientific / engineering course (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant field
Previous experience in project coordination
Familiar with product-standard project coordination methodologies
Experience with project management software
Ability to develop relevant documentation
Ability to improve and optimise
Ability to work in a team and with partners when necessary
Strong communication skills
Organised, ability to work with efficiency and priorities workload
Independent and self-motivated
Objective-oriented
Understanding of English language, both written and oral
Graduate of a project management course
Understanding of budgeting and accounting processes
Knowledge of electrochemistry and/or electronics
