We are looking for a candidate to join the team at BeFC to assist in implementing and executing inspection, testing and evaluation methods to ensure that products adhere closely to company standards.
There is no expectation for the post holder to perform staff managerial duties.
BeFC encourage and support the personal and professional development of our staff. Individual development needs will be identified through a regular review process.
From time to time, the post holder may be asked to assist with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
This will form part of a substantive role and no additional payment for these activities should be expected.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience and strong interest in developing and monitoring a quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, and measuring against set standards.
1) Devise and establish a quality management framework
2) Review customer requirements and make sure they are met
3) Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality requirements
4) Set company standards for quality as well as health and safety
5) Ensure manufacturing processes meet necessary standards
6) Investigate methods to reduce waste and increase efficiency
7) Define quality procedures and response actions
8) Set up and maintain relevant documentation
9) Measure performance and identify weaknesses
10) Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports
11) Liase with managers to help achieve quality standards
12) Provide training to employees on quality control measures
Graduate with an engineering or other relevant background (at least a Master’s degree or equivalent)
Experience in quality control / assurance
Experience in creating a quality management framework

Graduate from a degree in process engineering
