Our Business Developer, Nathan LE FLAO, will be representing BeFC at embedded world, Nuremberg, Germany, 21-23 June.

Extreme miniaturisation coupled with increasingly higher computer performance, efficient communication of networked, often also mobile systems – the developers of embedded systems have to meet enormous requirements. The reliability of electronic systems, distributed intelligence, the internet of things and solutions for future themes such as e-mobility and energy efficiency are the main topics right at the top of the agenda for the embedded sector and industry.

BeFC had the chance to participate in "embedded world", the German event and conference/exhibition center bringing together the entire embedded systems community. This event is a highly specialised global platform around embedded systems, which is quite rare. In keeping with the times and the need to mobilise all industries to address global environmental challenges such as climate change, embedded world also had an ecological and sustainable dimension at the heart of the technology innovation presentations. BeFC had the opportunity to present its biofueled miniature battery and its active sensor tag platform, a green technology solution which generate electricity from paper and enzymes. BeFC showcased its organic energy solution, enabling the next generation of smart and sustainable digital devices. With BeFC technology, we enable digital opportunities, without the downsides of a battery.

Embedded world: a smarter world!

Embedded word is really a reference in the digital world. More than 30,000 trade visitors, 2,000 congress participants and 1,110 exhibitors… is a large-scale meeting that celebrates breakthrough innovations in the world of embedded systems technology. The innovations presented concern software, hardware, tools, embedded vision, start-ups… it’s all of this and more! Professor Karlheinz Blankenbach from Pforzheim University and Chairman of the Congress Advisory Board called it the place "where the latest research and development results are presented to a knowledgeable audience". The lectures at the event are highly sought after and come from top class speakers. The high-quality expert panels speak on various tech topics, such as display technology, supply chain, display components or markets overview.

BeFC: a lever for the next generation of smart green electronics

Nathan Le Flao, our business developer represented us at embedded world and presented our biofuel cell and its digital platform of active sensor tag. BeFC is empowering the next generation of IoT and connected devices by providing a safe ecological alternative to traditional miniature batteries, which often discharge toxic metals and lithium into nature. Nathan was surrounded by developers, system architects, product and technical managers who were all here to learn more about the latest innovations in the world of embedded systems. hungry He had the opportunity to explain to this audience how our innovation can help them to be part of the sustainability movement of electronics. Indeed, a BeFC can contribute to their eco-design, ensure a better life-cycle management of connected products through its non-polluting properties, and can also generate huge benefits in terms of reducing recycling costs and allowing them to comply with the more and more stringent and watchful environmental regulations.
