Nature Spinoff Prize : BeFC "One to Watch in 2020".

For the inaugural Spinoff Prize, Nature sought out the most exciting science-based companies to have emerged from the academic labs in the past three years, and BeFC are delighted to have been selected by Nature as “one to watch” for 2020.

Our paper fuel cell technology, based on enzymatic conversion of glucose and oxygen to produce electricity, has been highlighted as a way to address the worldwide challenges of environmental impact and sustainability.
