Originally from Paris, Gerard passed his BTS (Advanced Technician's Certificate) focused on chemical synthesis, formulation, and analysis in 2023. He then gained additional experience and know-how through an apprenticeship programme in a concrete manufacturing company.
Currently, Gerard is pursuing a professional bachelor's degree in formulation chemistry at the Sorbonne University in Paris. In his internship at BeFC, Gerard is carrying out mainly physico-chemical characterization on inks and polymer formulations.
Gerard's long-term aspirations are to to work in the field of chemistry, in research and development (R&D), ideally within a company that plays a significant role in the environmental and sustainability.
