Pierre-Yves studied at the National Institute of Applied of Lyon (INSA Lyon) where he graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design and Innovation (GMCIP) with an apprenticeship at the company Becton Dickinson. He worked on product and process characterisation and contributed to the development and validation of measurement methods. His experience allowed him to develop his technical expertise as well as his project management skills.
During his PhD studies with BeFC, Pierre-Yves is evaluating the industrialisation processes required for mass production, whilst respecting eco-conception. Main topics include liquid reservoir design and manufacturing, mechanical characterisation of materials, and industrial machine design.
